I’m very happy to announce that Nella is coming to Budapest, and we will be teaching together during this special tango weekend at Roxy Stúdió.
Nella, winner of the American World Championship qualifier in both Salon and Stage Tango categories, is coming to Hungary. During the same weekend, we will also perform at Hölgyválasz, and we are excited to invite you to our workshops as well.

WS1. 13:30–15:00
Followers Technique: Stability, Freedom & Effortless Pivots
How can followers feel more grounded? This workshop focuses on stability, axis, pivots, and fluid movement while reducing unnecessary tension. Through targeted exercises and practical tools, we’ll explore how better balance creates more freedom, precision, and comfort in tango.
WS2. 15:15–16:45
Open Level: Dancing the Orchestra
In this workshop, we will explore rhythmic and melodic interpretation, musical phrasing, pauses, accents, textures, and changes of energy. The goal is to develop tools that help you listen more deeply and translate what you hear into clear, expressive movement, so that your dance becomes more musical, dynamic, and personal.
Sunday – June 14
WS3. 15:00–16:30
Open Level: Elastic Embrace & Creative Improvisation
This workshop is dedicated to creating more possibilities inside the embrace. We will explore elasticity, adaptability, and communication within the couple in order to develop more natural and effective improvisation. Through sacadas and changes of dynamics, we will discover how a more flexible embrace can transform familiar movements into almost endless creative possibilities.
