The excitement is huge in the Tango de Pista category, a whole bunch of superstars have been eliminated, the final will take place today, Sunday, but the latest news is this: the winner of the Tango Escenario (stage tango) category has been announced.<\/strong> <strong>Buenos Aires City Stage Tango Champions: Nuria Lazo and Federico Iba\u00f1ez<\/strong><\/p>\n<section>\n<h2>The winners\u2019 dance<\/h2>\n<p>Before watching the video, it is worth noticing an interesting musical detail. They did not win with a classic instrumental piece or a deep male voice, as we have often become used to in the stage category. Their chosen track was <strong>\u201cPorque vas a venir\u201d<\/strong> performed by <strong>Tango Bardo<\/strong>, but here is the real twist: they won over the jury with a <strong>female singer (Antonela Alfonso)<\/strong>. On the one hand, this is where you can most clearly see <strong>what Argentina\u2019s best dancers are preparing for ahead of the later world championship<\/strong>. This competition is also the &#8220;big rehearsal,\u201d, On the other hand, it is always worth paying special attention to the winners of the <strong>Metropolitano<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0This year, in the <strong>Tango de Pista<\/strong> category, some couples did not make it into the Metropolitano final even though they are otherwise almost permanent participants in the world championship final. Let\u2019s not forget: the year before last, for example, it was the Metropolitano winners who later also won the Pista world championship.
