Osvaldo Zotto
Osvaldo Zotto is one of the biggest names in the history of tango, and has been ever since he started to dance with his wife Mora Godoy. Together they made a series of fantastic instructional videos, which achieved great success world wide during the 90’s and are still popular to this day!
The Year of Change
In 1997 Osvaldo began dancing with Lorena Ermocida, and within a short time they were among the top ranking tango dancers in the world, in the categories of Tango and Show Tango. This video is their FIRST performance together. Here Osvaldo shows the most beautiful technical movements with “cadencias”, while dancing with Lorena. This performance was recorded in April 1997 in the famous Club Almagro!
The Last Performance
This next video shows Osvaldo Zotto’s LAST performance. The music they danced to is: Esteban Morgado – Tú. This is so beautifully executed, it’s my absolute favorite- and really touches my heart. Every time I watch Zotto dancing, I am always astonished by his personalized, horizontal push-off technique! Does it amaze you to?
